Sample brief — full SAMPLE Brief #1
SAMPLE throughout: every item below uses SAMPLE data for fictional clinics in a fictional “Sample Metro” from the business’s published Sample Brief #1. These are not real clinic openings, prices, or filings. A paid brief replaces every sample item with a real, cited public source.
Open SAMPLE Brief #1 — fictional clinics, sample data only
SAMPLE — Brief #1, week of [sample week] · Metros: Sample Metro (fictional stand-in) · Send day: Tuesday 6:00 AM local.
Openings & Closures (sample)
OPENING — GlowLab Aesthetics LLC (sample, fictional). Business registration filed [sample date], Sample Metro. Services listed in the filing’s public business description: medspa services. Source: Sample State business registry (sample link pattern). Operator takeaway: a new medspa entrant in the sample area — check whether its opening menu overlaps your service list before adjusting anything.
OPENING — Revive IV Studio LLC (sample, fictional). New location announced [sample date] by the business itself (sample announcement). Source: business announcement + registry filing. Operator takeaway: IV therapy capacity is growing in this metro — watch membership pricing, not just per-visit pricing.
CLOSURE — Serene Skin Studio LLC (sample, fictional). Business registration dissolved [sample date]. Source: Sample State business registry (primary source). Operator takeaway: one fewer competitor in the sample area — but check whether its clients are being absorbed by a nearby clinic before assuming demand is freed up.
Pricing Benchmarks (sample — observed ranges only, never recommended prices)
| Service (sample) | Observed range (sample) | Sample size / period |
|---|---|---|
| IV therapy, single session | $129–$189 (sample) | n = 12 public menus, [sample date range] |
| Membership, monthly (IV + 1 service) | $149–$249/mo (sample) | n = 9 public menus, [sample date range] |
| Injectable service, per area (category only) | $11–$15 per unit-equivalent, as listed (sample) | n = 14 public listings, [sample date range] |
These are observed ranges from public sources. They are not recommended prices. Verify against your own costs, market, and counsel before changing any price.
Regulation & Compliance Flags (sample)
Sample board notice (sample, fictional): Sample State licensing board published a notice on [sample date] about updated record-keeping guidance for aesthetic clinics. Summary only — see the primary source linked (sample link) in a paid brief. Verify applicability to your clinic with your own counsel or compliance advisor before acting. No legal conclusion is drawn here.
Hiring Signals (sample)
Injector roles: 6 public postings in Sample Metro this week, posted pay ranges $28–$38/hr where listed (sample). Esthetician roles: 4 postings, $20–$27/hr where listed (sample). Front-desk roles: 5 postings, $17–$22/hr where listed (sample). Takeaway: injector postings rose vs. last sample week — if hiring is slow, check whether posted pay, not availability, is the constraint.
Equipment & Service Trends (sample)
3 clinics in Sample Metro added membership pricing to public menus this sample month (sample). 2 clinics added a new service category to their menus (sample). Takeaway: if two competitors in your metro added membership pricing this month, check whether your front desk is still quoting per-visit only.
Corrections (sample)
None in this sample brief. In a paid brief, corrections appear here and on the archived issue, never as silent edits.
SAMPLE footer: this brief reports public business and market information for clinic operators. It is not medical advice, does not recommend any treatment or service, and is not a substitute for clinical judgment or professional medical guidance. It is not legal, financial, tax, or business advice.
What you get, every week — the six sections
1. Openings & Closures (5–15 items)
New business registrations, new locations announced, closures and dissolutions — with entity name as filed, metro, date, and primary-source link.
2. Pricing Benchmarks (updated rolling)
Service pricing seen in public listings, menus, and ads (IV therapy, injectables by service category, membership pricing) — always observed ranges from public sources, never a recommended price.
3. Regulation & Compliance Flags
Summaries of new or proposed rules, board notices, and licensing changes affecting clinics in covered states, each with a link to the primary source and a "verify with your counsel/compliance advisor" note. No legal conclusions.
4. Hiring Signals
Job postings for clinic roles (injectors, estheticians, front desk, managers) with posted pay ranges where listed — a proxy for labor-market pressure, not a job board.
5. Equipment & Service Trends
New services appearing on clinic menus, equipment categories mentioned in job posts or announcements, and what operators are adding or dropping.
6. Operator Takeaway (per item)
1–2 lines on what each item means — not just what happened.

Prices
Standard
$79/month
The Weekly Brief (all sections above) for your metro grouping.
Pro
$199/month
Everything in Standard, plus a Monthly Metro Snapshot (1 per metro, per month, in table form, with month-over-month change), a searchable archive of all past briefs and snapshots, and priority processing of missed-item reports and coverage requests (still subject to the same sourcing standard — a request does not guarantee inclusion).
Annual plans are later only, after churn data exists. Free tier: a monthly free teaser with 5 sample items + 1 benchmark table, no snapshot, no archive. Free subscribers are never counted toward revenue math.
What's NOT included — and what this brief never does
Never in the brief
No medical advice. No treatment recommendations, no clinical protocols, no efficacy or safety claims, no patient outcomes — even if a source clinic makes such claims, the brief reports that the clinic advertises X (with source) without endorsing it, or omits it entirely. No legal advice, no compliance advice, no personalized business advice, no recommendation to open, close, price, hire, or expand in any particular way.
Also never
No vendor referrals for pay. No patient data. No private owner contact information beyond what is already in a public filing. No calls, no consulting, no done-for-you compliance work in v1.
QA rule and corrections — published from issue one
QA rule. 20% of claims are verified to a primary source before anything is sent. Regulatory items link to the primary source (board, agency, legislature), not a vendor summary or news rewrite — if only a secondary source exists, the item is labeled "secondary source — verify against primary source" or held. Closure items require a primary-source link — a single anonymous tip or a "website is down" observation is not enough and is marked "unconfirmed / single-source" or held entirely.
Corrections policy. If a fact is wrong, it is corrected in the next issue, noted on the archived issue, and affected subscribers are told if the error was material. Corrections are never silently edited away. Every correction is logged with date, original item, and corrected fact.
Terms. Monthly subscription, cancel anytime, effective at end of current billing period. A $79 Standard month exceeds the $50 auto-approve threshold, so a full-month refund request is escalated to the owner — it is never auto-approved. No income claims, no guaranteed outcomes, no fabricated testimonials or subscriber counts. No affiliation claimed with any board, association, franchisor, or regulator unless a written affiliation actually exists. Every email carries an accurate subject line, the brand name as sender, a business postal address (never a home address), and a working unsubscribe honored promptly. Double opt-in for free signups; never purchased or scraped addresses; never email a paid issue to a lapsed/cancelled subscriber.
Sources and limits — confirmed vs. inferred, labelled
Method and sources, from the coverage copy — no live counts are claimed on this page. Coverage is described by how it is built, not by invented totals.
How an item earns “confirmed”
Items are built from public sources per metro: state business registry (openings, closures, entity name as filed, date), licensing board / agency (licensing changes, board notices, rule proposals — primary source, never a vendor summary as sole source), public job boards (hiring signals and posted pay ranges), local news, permit databases, and clinic websites / public menus (pricing benchmarks as observed ranges). At least 2 independent sources per signal type where possible.
Labels when it is not confirmed
A single-source item is labelled “unconfirmed / single-source” or held entirely. A regulatory item with only a secondary source is labelled “secondary source — verify against primary source” or held. Closures require a primary-source link — a single anonymous tip or a “website is down” observation is not enough. Benchmarks are presented as ranges with sample size, never as a single “market price,” and never as “you should charge” — the brief reports what public menus showed, in a stated metro and date range.
Proposed launch metros — pending validation, not decided: the proposed starting set in the coverage copy is Phoenix, AZ; Dallas–Fort Worth, TX; Atlanta, GA — to be validated metro by metro before launch. A metro stays on the list only if it passes all checks: searchable state business registry, licensing-board source, job-board signal, and local news coverage, all accessible online without a paywall, updated at least weekly, with date-searchable fields. A metro that fails is dropped — never claim a metro that is not actually sourced, and never pad a thin metro’s brief with filler. Daily pulls run Monday–Friday; items are classified and scored, and only the stronger items publish.
Standard vs. Pro — including what Pro still excludes
| Standard | Pro | |
|---|---|---|
| Price (as listed above) | $79/month | $199/month |
| Weekly Brief | All six sections, for your metro grouping | Everything in Standard |
| Extras | — | A Monthly Metro Snapshot (1 per metro, per month, in table form, with month-over-month change), a searchable archive of all past briefs and snapshots, and priority processing of missed-item reports and coverage requests — still subject to the same sourcing standard; a request does not guarantee inclusion |
Explicit Pro exclusions — Pro does not add any of these: no medical advice; no treatment recommendations, clinical protocols, efficacy or safety claims, or patient outcomes; no legal advice, no compliance advice, and no personalised business advice; no recommendation to open, close, price, hire, or expand in any particular way; no vendor referrals for pay; no patient data; no private owner contact information beyond what is already in a public filing; no calls, no consulting, and no done-for-you compliance work in v1. Annual plans are later only, after churn data exists. What happens after you subscribe: the Weekly Brief arrives on the same send day and time every week (for example, Tuesday 6:00 AM local for your metro grouping); if a fact is wrong, it is corrected in the next issue, noted on the archived issue, and logged — never silently edited away; cancel anytime, effective at end of current billing period.
